Team Eritrea participates in the Uganda international Para-Badminton event.
Team Eritrea will participate in the Uganda international Para-Badminton that runs from 13 to 18th September and will give way to the Africa para-badminton championship that will run from 19 – 24th September at the Lugogo indoor stadium. Team Eritrea will be represented by Mathias Kiflom and Wubet Haile in Uganda. Eri-internationalsports wishes both Eritreans much success in Uganda.
Badminton is a Paralympic sport. Badminton became an official sport for the first time at the Tokyo Paralympics that took place in 2020. The BWF is a member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). The IPC recognizes the BWF as the world governing body for Para badminton. In Africa, Uganda has been one of the top advocates for the sport and Eritrea has been an active participant in the sport of Badminton as the sport is growing locally.
