Tomas Woldetensae was born in Italy to Eritrean parents. He is currently A professional basketball player for Pallacanestro Varese of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). He started off his college basketball career at Indian Hills community college in Iowa USA. He lead the Warriors by playing top notch Junior College basketball where he impressed a few NCAA division 1 schools until the Virginia Cavaliers decided to give him an opportunity. The University of Virginia were the defending champions at the time as they had just won the NCAA title and in 2 seasons with the “Wahoos” as they are sometimes known he was able to showcase an incredible ability to perform at high level.

He helped his team to several wins against some of the top basketball schools in the nation. He opted out to go back to Italy, where he is currently playing incredible basketball as you can see on the video sinking 5 three point baskets in Italy’s top basketball league.
