NHL Star Eritrean-Swede Oliver Kylington had a great 2022 season. Being looked at by several big teams for a trade.
Several teams in the NHL are targeting Calgary Flames defenseman Oliver Kylington. After being used as a second stringer for the past couple of years with the Flames and their farm club in California, Olver came out to prove he is well deserving of a spot and a bigger role to help lead the Calgary Flames to the second round of the playoffs where he scored some very important goals while playing defense. Oliver scored 31 points in 73 games, including nine goals this past 2021-22 season, yet his best in the NHL still at a young age. The New York Islanders one of the most popular and traditional hockey teams are showing a big interest according to some sources. This is what some pundits are saying about his ability and why he should be looked at by some teams including the Islanders.
“He’s a young left-handed top-four defenseman that fills a void on the Islanders roster for 2022-23.” The NY Islander’s publication Eye on the Isles, added: “It was a breakout year for Kylington who stepped up into the Flames’ top four. Adding him to the roster would immediately improve the Islanders’ back end immensely. The question isn’t “is Oliver Kylington a good player” but “can he be had”?”
We shall wait and see if Oliver will remain in Calgary to pursue a championship or change teams for a lot more money next season. Stay tuned to Eri-internationalsports for more.
